DEREK HAS TAKEN HIS EXPERIENCE AS A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE AND BLENDED IT WITH HIS EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AS AN INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT AND THERAPIST TO CREATE A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO COACHING AND UNDERSTANDING THE COMPLEXITIES OF PERFORMING HUMAN MOVEMENT AND TEACHING IT TO OTHERS.

DEREK WOODSKE IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE PREMIER LECTURERS OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING AND EXERCISE SPORTS PERFORMANCE CURRENTLY WORKING TODAY.

IN THE PAST FIFTEEN YEARS, DEREK HAS SPOKEN IN MORE THAN A DOZEN COUNTRIES, BEEN TRANSLATED INTO MULTIPLE LANGUAGES, AND INFLUENCED THOUSANDS OF COACHES AND PERSONAL TRAINERS WORLDWIDE.

DEREK BEGAN HIS JOURNEY AND PASSION FOR HUMAN PERFORMANCE THROUGH HIS ATHLETIC SUCCESS AS AN NCAA ALL-AMERICAN AND NATIONAL CHAMPION IN TRACK AND FIELD. BEFORE TRANSFERRING THAT SUCCESS BEYOND COLLEGE, WHERE HE REPRESENTED HIS HOME COUNTRY OF CANADA ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS AS A MEMBER OF THE CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM.

AFTER RETIRING FROM THE SPORT OF TRACK AND FIELD, DEREK BEGAN PURSUING HIS PASSION HAVING PROFESSIONAL COACHING EXPERIENCE IN THE NFL, NCAA, AND OLYMPICS.

This EXPERIENCE OPENED DOORS TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR, WHICH INCLUDED BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CONTRACTS, MOST NOTABLY OF WHICH DEREK WAS THE HEAD INSTRUCTOR FOR POLIQUIN PERFORMANCE.
